There is no doubt that the abortion debate inspires many complicated discussions regarding religion, ethics and privacy. However, I believe that women need each other and can benefit from working together on this issue.<br /><br />One way that both sides can work together is by partnering to stop forced abortions, which inherently violate both pro-abortion and anti-abortion beliefs. As I’m writing this, forced abortions in China are <a href="http://www.abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=6278827&page=1">making headlines.</a><br /><br />Both sides of the issue can also come together on decreasing the need for abortions by increasing access to birth control and contraception. Not all anti-abortion activists take this stance due to religious or moral opposition to birth control, but many do. <br /><br />I welcome your feedback and discussion via the comments on each post.
